The short animated film narrates how Article 66(D) of the 2013 Telecommunications Law has been continuously used by the military and political parties to silence critics and dissenters of the government.

MIDO has started a Facebook page called "Real or Not" to tackle the pressing issues of misinformation and incitement of inter-communal conflict in Myanmar. This is a flagship initiative in Myanmar and has inspired similar efforts in different locations and communities across the country.

APC’s subgranting programme, now in its third year, has so far awarded a total of USD 291,534 to support its members in achieving APC’s vision. Sixteen member organisations have been recipients of 17 grants. The call for campaign and research grants is still open.

APC is undertaking research on the criminalisation of expression in India, Malaysia, Pakistan and Myanmar, and is calling for researchers with a firm background in ICT laws and policies from the above mentioned countries to coordinate the research. The deadline for applications is 21 April 2017.
