Call for proposals: Four grant awards for digital rights advocacy initiatives 16 June 2023

The grants will be awarded for advocacy-oriented initiatives, particularly those that aim to highlight and influence digital rights policies that impact marginalised communities in Latin America,  the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. The deadline for applications is 15 August.

From 10 - 12 June, CYRILLA and APC hosted a Twitter campaign. The purpose of #DigitalLawsAsia was to explore the human rights impacts of digital regulation in South and Southeast Asia.

A session introducing the CYRILLA database was hosted at the Internet Freedom Festival for legal researchers, journalists, civil society advocates and human rights defenders seeking to shape rapidly evolving legal frameworks for digital rights worldwide.
