Areas of expertise


Elvin has more than 10 years of experience in the ICT field, mainly working in the areas of telecommunications policy and regulation, cybersecurity, internet governance, privacy and data protection, and digital policies. He has worked with various Pacific regional and international organisations, and represents several working groups and committees on cybersecurity and internet safety.

Purpose of position

To coordinate regional policy efforts in the Southeast and South Asia regions and develop consistent and clearly communicated policy responses to the most pressing challenges to community-led connectivity initiatives and community networks. This includes contributing to efforts through the development of analysis of key policy and regulatory issues and sharing widely these developments related to the growth of community networks.
