Renice Owino was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. She is passionate about empowering girls to pick up STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math)-related courses. Renice is a web developer and started her career in 2015. She works at Tunapanda Institute where she is in charge of clientele work and also coordinates Tech Dada which is an all-girls STEAM club that aims to increase the number of girls in tech from the Kibera slums. Renice has an associate's degree in ICT. She is part of the TunapandaNET community network and is in charge of the community outreach programme.
