Salma Abdulwaheed

CITAD representative on the community networks learning grant


Salma Abdulwaheed, a human right and gender activist, is passionate about gender equality and girl child education. She cares about the intersection between gender, young people, digital economy and technology. She has first degree in Journalism from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and just rounded up a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from the Bayero University, Kano. She has been part of the gender digital inclusion team at CITAD, and recently worked on the research on gender violence in the context of Lockdown. Presently, she is Head Office at the Abuja Office of CITAD. As the head, she also has direct responsibility for the ICT community centres of CITAD in the FCT rural communities.
