KICTANet: 5G myths, realities, opportunities
APC member KICTANet hosted a webinar in partnership with Huawei on the realities of 5G in Kenya. Panellists discussed the claims that 5G causes health problems, then moved to the regulatory environment and what would need to change in order for 5G to be viable for the Kenyan market.
APC members in 2017: Rhizomatica and AlterMundi train indigenous communicators in Mexico
Between October 2016 and May 2017, the first edition of the Diploma Course for Community Promoters in Telecommunications and Broadcasting was held in Mexico. The course was attended by community communication organisations from six Mexican states, and a total of 36 participants.
