What is the project about?
This is a project aimed at digital inclusion and technical and political empowerment that includes the expansion of internet access to all 21 villages of theTenondé Porã Guarani Indigenous territory, located south of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. This includes the improvement of the network's management and a pilot workshop to empower the communities for critical use of information and communications technologies. Hotspots (routers) will be installed, software for remote network management will be deployed, and a pilot workshop for debate and technical and political training for “multipliers” in each of the communities will be held.
