The transition from cost control in the hospitality industry to project support coordinator within the community networks environment has been a welcoming one, filled with many lessons learned and unlearned since commencing at Zenzeleni Networks NPC in June 2019. Experience and knowledge gained within various industries, from manufacturing to construction to media and marketing, has strongly positioned Yumna Panday, a former student BA (MCC) at Nelson Mandela University, in her role as all-round support to the Cooperatives that make up Zenzeleni Community Networks. Within the short time at the organization, she has found purpose for skills and with the freedom and platform to progress and develop, she strongly believes she is well on her way to finding her niche within the sector.
