Global policy advocacy coordinator

Biography

Verónica has several years’ experience in research, policy analysis and advocacy on internet and human rights. Before joining APC, she served as a policy advisor on digital and open government at the Government Secretariat of Modernisation in Argentina. Previously, she worked at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard, the Center for Studies on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information (CELE), and as a consultant with several digital rights organisations in Latin America. Verónica holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Central European University. Her work focuses on freedom of expression, privacy, gender and technology.

Purpose of position

The purpose of the global policy advocacy coordinator is to coordinate APC members' and partners’ involvement in APC’s global policy advocacy and support regional advocacy work in close collaboration with APC programmes. This includes supporting APC’s global advocacy lead in coordination of APC’s global advocacy work across all programmes and proactively contributing to APC’s global policy advocacy strategy.
