Doreen Luhanga

Biography

Doreen Luhanga is computer engineering graduate from Livingstonia University, Malawi. She is passionate about developing technology that will assist in social-economic development. To enhance her skills in development, she attended trainings in Project writing, Monitoring and evaluation, gender in a value chain and professional leadership. She is currently working with Centre for Youth and Development (CYD) as an ICT project Administrator. Doreen helps schools get computers from CYD, allowing her to visit a lot of schools in Malawi. Doreen uses this opportunity to encourage secondary school girls take up computer subject and to pursue careers in the made dominated IT field.
