Darwin Torres Jimenez

Biography

Darwin Torres Jiménez is a grassroots communications practitioner and social activist for human rights and peace in Colombia, with an academic background in public administration and experience in research and communications. His work experience involves social and cultural processes aimed at strengthening community participation in the defence, protection and promotion of rights with a focus on ethnic identities. He has directed, coordinated and worked with interdisciplinary teams in the formulation, development and assessment of policies, plans, programmes and projects at the local and national level. He currently works with the PCN in the area of communications.
