Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida)

One of the main goals of the Swedish International Development Agency is to reduce poverty and empower the poor. As part of its work in ICT for democracy, Sida funded a study to be conducted by the APC on the effects and possibilities of ICT for the enhancement of democracy, ending in 2009.

Sida has provided core funding to support the implementation of APC's strategic plan for the periods 2012-2015 and continues to support with core funding in 2016-2019.
