Your vote is key to obtaining international recognition for the Global Information Society Watch project, an initiative from the Association for Progressive Communications and Hivos in the category: “The role of public governance authorities and all stakeholders in the promotion of ICTs for development (C1)”. In order to vote, you must register first and then click on the “Vote for Project” button Note that Stocktaking Members (STK) are not allowed to vote for/appreciate their own project as it will cancel our nomination, which includes any APC staff.

The Association for Progressive Communications, in close cooperation with APC members, networks and civil society groups, aims to win the WSIS Project Prize from the International Telecommunications Union because of the achievements of the GISWatch project. Why? We think that GISWatch has made many important contributions to the understanding of ICT policies throughout the years, from ICT for development to internet governance from the perspectives of civil society. We think that GISW is an innovative, replicable and international project that involves stakeholders around the implementation of WSIS outcomes by offering an efficient scenario where those actors can share their best practices.

As well as voting, you can also help us by sharing the campaign message.Forward the link to vote to your contacts, Tweet about the voting phase using hashtags #gisw #wsis and embed the campaign banner on your own website.
