APC's EcoThursday initiative is back! Launched in October 2022, this initiative managed to highlight the intersection between environmental justice and other strategic areas of work, such as digital inclusion, feminist internet, human rights, internet governance and collective power. Members of the APC network, partners, friends and allies engaged in rich conversations on issues as diverse as open data to challenge the oil pollution industry, climate colonialism and the tech industry, a feminist internet and environmental justice and more. For the relaunching of the initiative in 2023, we will be convening once a month, to continue engaging in relevant conversations around ICTs, environmental sustainability and climate justice.

When is our next EcoThursday?

Next #Ecothursday is on 25 May, between 13.00 and 16.00 UTC, with the motto #PlanetaryBoundaries. Join the conversation with members of the APC network around our environmental sustainability priorities at the upcoming RightsCon event.
