Wikileaks has competition

Want the Wikileaks without the Julian Assange?

Well the Wall Street Journal has the answer. It recently introduced SafeHouse, an online drop box for whistleblowers to release documents anonymously.

And they are not alone. Several prominent news outlets are rumored to be working on their own version of Wikileaks, and Al Jazeera’s is already available.

These news outlets are clearly trying to cut out the middle man. Entertaining though he may be.

APC’s stance on this issue is clear. Sites like Wikileaks are essential for transparent government and freedom of information.
