Right to Information (RTI) in Election Manifesto
Most of the leading political party in Bangladesh made their commitment on Right to Information-RTI issue within their respective election manifesto. Three political parties have directly
incorporated RTI in their manifesto. The parties’ are-Bangladesh Awami League and Jatiya Party (Ershad) and Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB).
Besides these, Bangladesh Jamat-E-Islami, Leberal Democratic Party (LDP), Worker’s Party of Bangladesh, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), Jatiya Jukto
Front led by Dr.Kamal Hossain and Prof.Dr.Badruddoza Chowdhury-incorporated RTI indirectly within their manifesto.
