Last week, the Convention on Modern Liberty was launched in London. It aims to be a “A call to all concerned with attacks on our fundamental rights and freedoms, under pressure from counter terrorism financial breakdown, and the database state.”
Dozens of national and international figures will speak at the event, with keynote speeches by Shami Chakrabarty, Director of Liberty; Phillip Pullman, author; and David Davis MP.
