Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA)

The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) is a joint international institution of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and the European Union (EU). Central to achieving its mission is their valued partnerships with ACP national and regional bodies. CTA also works with a wide network of ACP-EU public and private sector bodies as well as international organisations around the world.

CTA funded the GenARDIS project in 2005 and 2006.

The Gender, Agriculture and Rural Development in the Information Society (GenARDIS) small grants fund was developed in 2002 to support work on gender-related issues in ICTs for agricultural and rural development in the African, Caribbean and Pacific regions. In 2008, the third round of small grants was issued, and projects are currently being implemented.
