AccessPlusis a Uganda-based, independent, formally registered non-profit company with a mandate to operate nationwide. Established in 2019, AccessPlus is led by a group of dynamic young women with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) backgrounds. With their vast individual experiences in information and communications technologies (ICTs) and community outreach programs, they understand the dynamics of the common woman and girl at the grassroots. The organisation specialises in advocacy for affordable internet, women and youth empowerment, internet governance and safe internet.
