Sadaf Khan

I come from a journalistic background and have worked for 8 years in print and broadcast media in Pakistan. I later shifted my focus to the issue of journalist safety and worked on strategic interventions to end impunity and secure freedom of expression in media, by promoting a safer environment for journalists. I have also worked on Media Ethics, development journalism, data journalism and media content research specifically on conflict related themes. Prior to joining Bytes for All, I took a year off, went to LSE, where I studies development and communications, specifically media/ ICT governance policies and their links to development. At Bytes for All, I am looking after Digital Rights and Freedom of Expression component in all our projects and am additionally working as Country project Coordinator for APC’s IMPACT project.
