Ramprasad V

Ramprasad V is a development pursuer working on ICT initiatives at BAIF Development Research Foundation (BAIF). He is from the city of Bengaluru in India where he completed a major part of his schooling from Jyothy Kendriya Vidyalaya and after graduating in Mechanical Engineering he pursued his Master’s programme in Technology and Development from the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA) part of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in the year 2016. Since then he has been working at BAIF in Pune, India, where he is working on different digital interventions such as the eDost model, digital village ecosystem, rural-focused women-run call centre, uptake of software systems in the organisation and different forms of digital empowerment. His broad interests are in technology, environment and development.
