SDC funded gender and ICT policy advocacy and provided core support to APC in 2004, 2005 and 2006. In 2003 it funded the Gender and ICT awards. From 2006 to 2007 it provided core support for: Engaging policy and practice: Internet and ICTs for social justice and sustainable development.  As well, APC and SDC are partners in the Building Communications Opportunities (BCO) alliance which works to increase the impact and enhance knowledge of ICTs for poverty alleviation.
