Biografía

Alan Finlay is a researcher, writer and editor in the field of the internet and media rights. His numerous years of experience have led him to occupy various positions in project coordination, strategy development and assessment, as well as research and advocacy related to environmental sustainability and justice, in addition to education and training in journalism in Africa. From 2016 to 2024, he edited the State of the Newsroom report for the Wits Centre for Journalism and he is the editor in chief of Global Information Society Watch (GISWatch), published by APC.
