In 2002 IICD funded ItrainOnline coordination and hosting; and the “Civil Society and ICT Policy in Africa” workshop co-organised with Article 19, the Open Society Institute Western Africa (OSIWA) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). In 2005, 2008-2009 it provided support for GenARDIS project.
