Biography

Gaurav Jain has been writing, editing and managing content for two decades. He co-founded a feminist digital media site as well as a prize-winning independent media house, and has consulted with multimedia platforms and non-profits. Previously, he was Literary Editor at Tehelka magazine, where he won the RedInk Award for Investigative Journalism. He's also managed research teams in Washington DC, London and Gurgaon. 

Purpose of position

The lead editor conducts the editorial planning and coordination of APC’s website content, ensuring a consistent and strategic presence of APC's voice, drawing on existing strategic communications plans and APC's advocacy priorities. The lead editor reports to APC’s communications manager and works closely with the communications team members as well as other editorial leads.
