Augusto de Arruda Postigo

Biography

Augusto holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the State University of Campinas (2010) and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Brasília. He has been a member of ISA’s team since 2012, working with communities living on the banks of the Xingu, Riozinho do Anfrísio and Iriri rivers on a range of issues, such as land rights, cultural rights and forest economies, among others. He is a member of projects for the installation of digital radio communication systems in the Juruá and Xingu river basins. More here.
