Submission to the CSTD Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation from the Association for Progressive Communications
It’s been said that a week is a long time in politics, but in the world of internet governance, a week can be a lifetime or a nano-second, depending on your perspective. I must admit that during the past week at the third meeting of the UN Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation, I experienced both forms of time distortion.
On 24-28 February the APC community will be in Geneva discussing the future of internet governance in the context of the UN at the third meeting of a working group that addresses enhanced cooperation among multi-stakeholders.
This 3-day meeting took place in Geneva Nov 6-8 and was the second physical meeting of the multi-stakeholder working group (papers and documentation available online)

The second meeting of the working group will take place from 6-8 November 2013. The main objective is to discuss the input by stakeholders to the questionnaire developed earlier in the year and to draft recommendations based on those answers.
Currently, the Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation is circulating a questionnaire seeking inputs from organisations interested in internet governance (IG) issues. APC invites its members and partners to make their voices heard and fill it in before August 31.
