As an organisation that has worked at the intersections of human rights and technology for nearly three decades, APC welcomes the focus of the Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association in his next report on the exercise of these rights in the digital age.
This report provides an overview of the policy context and practice of freedom of assembly and association online in Malaysia, and five case studies which delve into Malaysian campaigns in this field.
