Inspired by a participant question raised at the recent Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF), this digital justice researcher attempts an answer with five suggestions and poses an amended question for us all.

The latest Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum took place 13-16 August in Vanuatu around the motto Empowering Communities in Asia Pacific to Build an Affordable, Inclusive, Open and Secure Internet. The Internet Governance Forum – the 7th to be exact – will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 6 to 9. What most people don’t know, is that the IGF comes at the end of a series of continental IGFs. One of them, APrIGF, the third Asia Pacific Internet Governance Forum, was held in Tokyo, Japan, in July. Full outcomes from the APrIGF will be presented at the IGF next week...
