HEDON Household Energy Network

HEDON uses ICT in the pursuit of more and better climate mitigation and adaptation. HEDON focuses on household energy, which is predominantly cooking, so it deals with issues related to food security as well. HEDON runs a Special Interest Group (SIG) / community of practice on Cooking and Carbon to discuss all things to do with climate change and household energy, with a focus on three main topics: Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reductions, Carbon Sequestration and Climate Adaptation.
