Between June and September 2015, APC will hold three Gender and Internet Governance eXchanges (gigX), two-day meetings prior to the regional Internet Governance Forums in Asia, Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean, where activists will come together to share knowledge on the intersections of gender and internet governance. The first gigX, organised in collaboration with Foundation for Media Alternatives, will take place on 29-30 June 2015 in Macau.

Today at the Human Rights Council, Persatuan Kesedaran Komuniti Selangor (EMPOWER) and the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) delivered a joint statement calling for urgent attention to the deteriorating situation in Malaysia with regards to the rights to freedom of expression and association.
