GreenNet helps launch more content-rich sites

By GreenNet LONDON, United Kingdom,

London-based APC member GreenNet has had a “dynamic” past year as far as its web sites go. After three years developing tools for dynamic web site construction, it’s seeing the results in the form of content-rich sites that it has helped launch into cyberspace.

An increasing number of GreenNet’s members are choosing easy forms-based dynamic web publishing to get their news and resources online. For links to some sites, click here.

New features deployed in the past year have included online petitions, multi-lingual (including multi-script) pages, quick campaign mini-sites, and content sharing across sites, servers and continents.

From small organisations to big international projects, GreenNet’s users are keeping their sites upto date and interactive. And the technology deployed is making it easier to do so.

The range of services from GreenNet’s Web Projects now includes: site planning consultancy, stylish and accessible graphic design, database management, content management system customisation, advanced search functionality, archiving, RSS (Real Simple Syndication) news feeding, blogs, wikis, interactive calendars, discussion boards and petitions, multi-lingual functionality, and more.

Says GreenNet: “If you have an idea for an online campaign or web site, and need help refining the project, or shaping it up for a funding proposal, GreenNet says it can help draft the plans, recommend technical approaches, and write the technical specs for your funders.”
