Internet governance
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is a multistakeholder policy dialogue space convened by the United Nations Secretary General in 2006 to “foster the sustainability, robustness, security, stability and development of the internet.”

Following the IGF, APC has taken some time to reflect on its involvement at the IGF, improvements and problematic areas of the event in general, and areas APC should work on for future events.
European-wide, open-ended, multi-stakeholder dialogue and exchange on the main thematic discussions and workshop proposals for the IGF, in particular on fostering security, privacy and openness on the Internet.
Anriette Esterhuysen, executive director of the APC, is one of the speakers at an OECD ministerial meeting on the future of the internet being held in South Korea on June 17-18.
