Stop Motion Project appears on Malaysian TV talk show

MDG3 Take Back the Tech! Fund small grant award winner Stop Motion Project screened its first video Is all well in your Taman? to the general public for the first time on a live TV talk show last month in Malaysia. One of the SMP team members, Ong Jo-Lene, appeared on the talk show to talk about the Stop Motion Project and its mission to empower and support individuals and organizations to end violence against women in Malaysia through the use of ICTs.

The three-part video campaign STOP MOTION PROJECT – When does the violence begin? aims to encourage discussion and promote awareness about the issue of violence against women through creative storytelling and the use of stop-motion animation. The second and third videos in the campaign will be released later this month.
