accessibility

Definição
Accessibility is a general term used to describe the degree to which a system is usable by as many people as possible. In the context of the internet, accessibility refers to the design of web interfaces, content and applications which are accessible to all, including people with physical, sensory or cognitive disabilities, people with changing abilities due to aging, people who are not literate, people who speak minority languages and people with slow internet connections. APC believes that the principle of inclusive design and the use of assistive technologies must be promoted and supported to allow persons with disabilities to benefit fully and on equal terms with non-disabled people.
