International Telecommunication Union

The International Telecommunication Union, ITU, is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technologies. Acting as a resource centre and interlocutor for governments and the private sector, ITU's role spans three core sectors: radiocommunication, standardisation and development. ITU was the lead organising agency of the World Summit on the Information Society.

Style information: Note that Telecommunication does not end in "s" in this organisational name.
