The responsible web officer at the Source: ITU">ITU

press centre stated to a complaining journalist that this was decided because "90% of the users work with Microsoft browsers anyway". Angry, he then walked out and refused further assistance.

The Head of ITU press service commented later that indeed the ITU website has been customized for Internet Explorer and it would be too time- and effort-consuming to change that.

However, she offered to check the issue as soon as the workload of her staff permits.
