EngageMedia is a media, technology and culture organisation focused on the strategic use of video to address critical social and environmental issues in the Asia-Pacific region.

EngageMedia works with independent film-makers, video activists, technologists, campaigners and social movements to generate wider audiences for their vital messages and move people to action.

EngageMedia aims to demystify and provide access to new video distribution technologies, create an online archive of independent video productions using open content licenses and to form a peer network of video makers, educators and screening organisations.

Núcleo de Pesquisas, Estudos e Formação - Nupef

Nupef is a private, autonomous, non-profit organization founded in 2009, whose mission is to to generate conditions for the exercise of digital citizenship, working in the defense of democracy, of the access to knowledge, of freedom of expression, privacy and cultural diversity, among other fundamental rights.

Presently, Nupef’s works is organized around four main programs:

- Advocating, raising awareness and building capacity on ICT policies and Internet

- New rhetoric and forms of expression for excluded groups – with a focus on digital storytelling

- Tiwa Project – Internet services for non-profit organizations

- Rets – the civil society online magazine
