Community Radio is now in existence in Bangladesh

“This is a great news for all of us that Community Radio is now in existence in Bangladesh!”-said Mr.

Rural people of Bangladesh entered into an era of community broadcasting to amplify the voices of vulnerable and marginalized groups through 14 community radio stations around the country. Community Radio provides the local community access to information and through exchange of information, leads them towards empowerment.

Smart phones, an Internet-enabled library on wheels, online medical consultations, websites and webinars, SMS – 14 more public libraries are using cutting-edge ICT to serve community information needs and to contribute to local and national development goals.
