Lots going on with the network of networks for a free and open internet project. First and foremost, apologies for the silence. At first it didn’t seem like there was too much to write about, and then it seemed like there was too much to write about.
If you enjoy tweaking the code that makes up the framework of a website, then Drupal is probably for you. This advanced content management system is more a developer platform than a traditional CMS. Its not to say that only developers can use the system though, but to say that they will feel more at home here than in the other two.
The Network of Networks project aims to strengthen civil society influence in global public policy
spaces that deal with internet policy issues through building a transglobal network of policy
advocates working for an open and just information society. To do so we want to increase the

The morning of 19th February was one that we had been working toward for some time. This report seeks to understand how networks deal with information formats – are certain formats routinely filed away or deleted, whist others tend to circulate? The report provides an introduction to the some of the arguments about how to approach the problem of information formats (for networks). Subsequently, it describes each of the projects undertaken at the workshop, including the data collected, the methods employed and the results eventually found. It also contains the info-graphics created during the workshop that aid in telling the stories in our final presentation, “The Problem of Information Formats (for networks).”
This meeting is part of the MDG3: Strengthening women’s strategic use of ICTs to combat violence against women and girls project run by the APC women’s programme (APC WNSP).
