Community Based Adaptation Exchange CBA-X is a shared online resource designed to bring together and grow the CBA community. It provides a space for exchange of up-to-date and relevant information about community-based adaptation, including news, events, case studies, tools, policy resources, and videos.

GBM Kenya is a non-profit grassroots NGO based in Kenya. Since 2007 GBM has integrated digital mapping and GIS into its monitoring and evaluations procedures. GBM’s GIS Lab in Kenya provides the capability to create/collect, edit, query, analyze and display geographic information in order to facilitate better tracking of GBM’s programs.

The Global Adaptation Atlas, an initiative of Resources for the Future’s Center for Climate and Electricity Policy, aims to enable a global community of scientists, policymakers, planners, donors and citizens to visualize what impacts are likely to affect their regions, what responses are underway, and what gaps need to be filled.

Innovative Knowledge Sharing for Climate Change Adaptation in Africa. AfricaAdapt is an independent bilingual network (French/English) focused exclusively on Africa.

This project is a collaborative effort on the part of six institutions in three countries (India, Nepal and the United States) under the leadership of the Institute for Social and Environmental Transition – Nepal (ISET – Nepal). Researchers and communities will develop intervention strategies based on income diversification, environmental management and multi-purpose communication systems.

This project aims to provide a systematic, rigorous analysis of the potential of ICTs to help prepare for and adapt to climate change in developing regions. The material produced will be compiled in an edited volume, a series of strategy briefings and a final policy paper.
