APC launches a new feature of the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms to foster engagement with the principles through shared resources and multimedia content about internet rights in Africa.
Since 1995, PROTEGE QV has worked in promoting rural development, protecting the environment and improving the well-being of communities in Cameroon. In 2007, it joined APC as the first central African member with the following motto: “We believe in the power of ICT to give equal access to information as a strategy to fight against poverty.”

We, the promoters of the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms, met in Accra, Ghana, on March 12 and 13, 2015 to discuss and review a variety of issues relating to the popularization and implementation of the Declaration on the African continent and beyond.
