Connect Your Rights!: Training workshop in Central America

APC invites members of women’s rights defenders organisations in Central America to participate in the workshop on data and identity protection and security for human rights defenders. The workshop, which lasts 5 days, is organised by APC’s Women’s Network Support Program as part of its campaign “Connect your rights!

General information on the training

D-Island is an open meeting/training space developed in SecondLife virtual world and it is administered by APC. It can be used by development organisations and networks for their own online meetings and capacity building activities.

First two training sessions took place on November 23 and November 30 on D-Island (virtual island) and they were targeted at APC network and selected partners. Training language is English.

New web 2.0 and social media for development training modules now available online
