GenderIT.org is a website for women’s movements, information and communication technology (ICT) advocates and policy makers who want to ensure that ICT policy meets women’s needs and does not infringe on their rights. It maps the intersections between women’s issues, such as violence against women and economic empowerment, with ICT issues. The portal has been labelled a ‘treasure trove on gender and ICT’ for its practical tools, guidelines, original content and gender analysis of policy frameworks.

A favourite feature of GenderIT.org is the Feminist Talk forum, , appreciated for its critical and humorous live coverage of events, and Gender Centred, a GenderIT.org thematic bulletin that focuses on topical gender and information and communication policy themes targeted at women’s rights advocates, policy makers and other concerned about gender-inclusive ICT policies. You may subscribe to Gender Centred in English or Spanish

GenderIT.org has resources in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
