Revamping the Women’sNet website

In early 2007, we began process of revamping and moving the Women’sNet website to a Drupal platform, which is an open source content management system (CMS). The revamp and operationalisation of the revamped Drupal website is integral to our improved capacity to build an up to date repository of information through which we service our constituency. A fully functional website, based on an automated CMS that will improve our internal and external communications, and improve our capacity to meet ever changing information needs. These will include repackaging content for different audiences – of African women’s organisations. The move to a Drupal platform also supports Women’sNet’s promotion of FOSS solutions.
