La primera edición especial del Monitor mundial sobre la sociedad de la información (en inglés) ofrece una actualización sobre el tema del 2011 “Derechos en internet y democratización” con foco en la libertad de expresión y asociación en línea en seis países: Argentina, Azerbaiyán, Indonesia, Pakistán, Arabia Saudita y Sudáfrica, introducidos por un texto de Jillian York de Electronic Frontier Foundation.
