“Oh no, not another online survey!” You’re not sure about how safe let alone how serious online surveys are? Well this one’s for you: A survey those campaigning online for human rights. While the internet is a powerful campaigning space, it’s got its obscure backstreets too. What are the specific threats and concerns to women human rights defenders in that space? The 5-minute survey tries to get a feel of your digital security readiness with a tour of 17 questions. Take the tour and learn about your privacy options in just 5 minutes. A collaboration between three internet-related human rights groups – the Association for progressive communications, Front Line Defenders and the Tactical Tech Collective – the survey is accessible here http://tinyurl.com/77qlyyr and its results will be published by end of May 2012. Needless to say, the results will be anonymous. Click here: http://tinyurl.com/77qlyyr
