Point of View's award-winning digital imprint Deep Dives is back with a new season of essays. The recently launched new collection, called “Bodies of Evidence”, will feature writings that explore the intersection of big data, bodies, gender and sexuality.

In this interview with journalist Frederick Noronha, our membership and network building coordinator Karel Novotný takes us on a journey through the APC network's past and present, and gives us some hints on what's ahead.

APC, the Information Society Division of the African Union Commission and Research ICT Africa are accepting applications for this year's edition of AfriSIG, which will be held immediately prior to and linked to the African Internet Governance Forum. The deadline for applications is 1 June.

The Video for Change Impact Toolkit helps activists harness the power of video to advocate for issues as pressing as extrajudicial killings in the Philippines or the death penalty in Malaysia. 

Participants at the Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum in Lagos, Nigeria agreed that the African Declaration on Internet Rights and Freedoms is a good starting point for the protection and promotion of online rights and freedoms on the continent, which are increasingly under threat.

The APC community will be actively participating in the Stockholm Internet Forum (SIF), organised by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), which is taking place 16-17 May, preceded by the activities happening at the Pre-SIF on 15 May.
