TRICALCAR is a capacity-building and applied research project about community wireless networks in Latin America and the Caribbean. Project partners are Fundación EsLaRed/WiLAC (Venezuela), CEPES (Peru), Nodo TAU (Argentina), LaNeta (Mexico), IT+46 (Sweden), COLNODO (Colombia) and APC (via its women’s programme, its strategic use programme and its Latin America ICT Policy Monitor project). WiLAC coordinates the project, which is funded by the Institute for Connectivity in the Americas (ICA) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in Canada.
