- Training is a process whereby a person with particular knowledge or skills in a given field transfers these to a group or an individual, providing opportunities to learn and acquire the skill for themselves. For example, in the case of information and communication technologies (ICTs), the skill could be the editing of a video segment with the help of a personal computer and editing software.
